Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome to the volunteer sign-up page. Sign up yourself, your family and friends to help at the 2011 Ocala Arts Festival, October 22nd & 23rd, 2011 . There are many ways to get involved; you will have the opportunity to meet and assist the artists that come from across the country while working alongside the Fine Arts For Ocala volunteer board.

Before or after your volunteer duty, allow time to take in the festival. Visit artists' booths, tour the Student art show, enjoy the entertainment, try festival foods, or just sit back in an Adirondack chair under the shade trees.

Here are some of the ways you can help!

Artist Check-In: Help check in the artists and hand out information packages.
Artist Donation Collections: Help gather donated art from artists when they arrive at the show. Help set up the "show Preview" tent.
Artist Party: Set up, serve and clean up while mingling with the artists.
Artist Hospitality Tent: Help set up snacks, replenish and clean up while visiting with the artists.
Artist Breakfast: Set up, serve and clean up breakfast out in the crisp morning air.
Artist Booth Sitting: Cover booths for artists while they take a break or get a bite to eat.
Site Planning: Volunteers will help mark the artists' booth locations throughout the festival grounds.
Children's Art Activities: Assist young artists as they create "make and take" art projects, set-up and clean-up.
Students Art Show: Help set up and take down art display boards. Assist teachers with displaying student art.
Entertainment: Assist Entertainers, stage crew and sound booth.
Information Booth: Hand out festival programs and direct visitors.
Site Set-up: Help set up tables, chairs, and displays in the main tents before the show.
Site Amenities: Distribute trash cans and recycling boxes throughout the festival site. Help close the show, gather cans, and recycling, fold tables and chairs.
Signage: Set up and hang signs and banners at various booths. Help remove at the end of the show.
